On treonauts they were talking about a PTT firmware upgrade early next year- does this mean it will be avialable via a cingular update on plam's website or that only the devices manufactered following the upgrade will have the PTT capabilities? Im not particularly interested in cingular's PTT right now seeing that no one I know has a PTT capable phone from cingular, but if it does become more popular over the next year to a year and half it might be nice to have.

Also does anyone know if the 680 has an updated blazer- the one on the 650 is crippled to say the least. Flash support and the ability to display websites the way there are designed to look would be more than appreciated.

Finnaly I've heard that I dont have to be paying 40 bucks for unlimited internet every month and I can be sneaky and get the 20 dollar smart phone plan- is that true?

Hello Cola Man,

I'm not sure about the PTT firmware and the Blazer browser but as far as the data service is concerned, there are cheaper plans with Cingular but they limit your usage. Check to see what the limits are. If I'm not mistaken the most expensive plan includes the usage of their Xpress Mail service and unlimited data. The other plans are not unlimited.
