Default Resetting Treo 680 Bluetooth app to factory settings

How do you reset the Bluetooth application in a Treo 680 to it's factory settings (ie. wipe it clean)?

I messed up inputing a passcode for a handsfree setup in my car and now cannot connect my Treo 680 to the system. Problem is when the 680 finds the handsfree, there is no option to reset the passcode or re-enter it. It just immediately tries to connect and, of course, fails. So I have to totally wipeout all devices.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi and welcome to ET:

You should be able to delete any device set up in the Bluetooth profiles. Look in your Trusted Devices list, highlight the one and delete. Then just run the setup again and you should be good to go....

    Thanks SteveTaz.

I've tried that, unfortunately the handsfree does not show up on the Treo until I try to connect. At that point there is no option to select and delete it (the device).

    Any other possibilities?

    Hi:

I wish I could offer you more, but I don't have a 680 to play on and test. I am pretty certain that a hard reset would clear it out, but you will lose all your data.

If you have a good backup, perhaps that is an option?
