Silent Internal Speaker

I've recently bought a brand new, never used before, Treo 680. It's never had a jack or headphone put in it. Sounds for games, alarms, etc. are quite loud. When I use the speakerphone for calls, the volume for me, who's even hard of hearing, is surprisingly loud. However, when the speakerphone is not selected, there's no sound at all. Nada. Nothing. It's impossible to hear the phone of the person who's been called as it rings, their answer, or anything they say. Does anyone have an idea of how to solve this?

I think you have an incompatible app for palm os or an old app that doesn´t work with Palm os v5 of your treo 680. I suggest you delete it and make a soft reset and if it did not work ,make a hard reset.
If the problem is not this app issue Make a hard reset.

EBryant you may want to also post this question in the Treo 650 forum at everythingtreo. Before you do be sure and do a good search in that forum and you may find some very useful input.
