Task List questions

Until I can get DateBk6 on my Treo 680, I'm using the built in task list.
Like, why is the default alarm 5 days in advance! Can this be changed to something like 1 hr? The default I mean, I know how to change it for every task, just don't want to. Is there a way to change this? I've looked in Preferences, but don't see it there.

I don't see a five day default.. I'm not sure where you are getting that.

However, the due date is a date, not a time. When I set a due date I get a list of days and today is just as easy to select as 5 days (if you are using the touch screen -- if you are using the keyboard, 7 days is easiest).

(Is this a difference between the 650 and 680.. I can't imagine it is)

As I said in my original post, the ALARM default for a task is 5 days earlier. Does anyone know how to change that?

I have the same problem with my Treo 680:
To Specify: In the task-list, when I choose "New", "details" and "Alarm", the default value is 5 days earlier. Is it possible to change this?
