Technician Issues..
Ive had Technician and Butler on my 680 for just a month now.. it worked fine. then it slowly started playing my old message tone and then my Technician tone.. then it just stop playing the sounds all together even my Ringtone. So i unchecked the box to "Replace Incoming Call Ringtone" and "Replace SMS Ringtone". Works fine with the original Tones.
Whats up with this?

I take it the problem is with Technician - as Butler is for setting alarms/reminders. Did you switch to a different player? I have found that the Butler/PT player d-oes not always work. The place to start with is in the "Ringers" category of PT. Which release of PT are you using? If you are not using Magic Tones then the 3.02 release is the one you probably want to use. If you use MT then you must use the 4x series.

so, how do I know what 'player' I have?

I had tech. for about a month... I didn't like the way it performed.. I have volume care now, which seems to work so much better... If I were asked which way to go prior to getting it, I'd tell anyone to avoid Tech.

PT has the Hobbyist Player coded in, so you have that and any others installed on your device, which probably includes pTunes.
The only reason I purchased Phone Technician was the "Stay put" feature, I do not use any of its other functions.
