Treo 680 Email Help Please

Hi I have had my treo680 from Cingular for a little while now and for some reason can't get my yahoo email to sync. I followed the directions from the manual but for some reason I can send delayed emails but cannot receive I also get an error saying my password is wrong. Has anyone else heard of this problem. :embarassed:

You do subscribe to Yahoo Mail Plus, don't you because Versamail won't sync with the regular, free version.

I am using a free Yahoo email account. It was one of the common providers listed in the users guide. Are there any free email providers that will work on the 680?

Some claim that you can get emails sent to VersaMail with a free Yahoo! account, but I haven't been able to figure that out yet.

GMail works wonderfully with VersaMail, and my personal Comcast account works well also.

Let me know who you have email accounts with, and I'll try to get you set up.

Well the email address I've had for a while is through hotmail. I signed up for a yahoo email account because it was on the list in the users guide and hotmail was not. So if neither of these will work maybe I should try gmail? Thanks so much for your help with this.

Hi,

I found that Glimmermail is the only one that works with HotMail. However, it does not handle attachements.

Ok I'm thinking my best option right now is to just sign up for a new email account through gmail. I don't mind it I just want something that works. Will that do it?
