Treo 680 red light! Please Help!!!

Hi all, I have a unlocked treo 680, and the red light is on. The phone will not turn on only shows the red light, can anyone help me

pull out the battery and leave it out for awhile before putting it back in. as soon as you put it in the logo should come on the screen. if not - I would trry a hard reset

ok soo just an update. the phone will not turn on. when i plug it up to a charger the red light only comes on. im guessing the battery is bad! oh yea and how do you do a hard reset my friend

Disconnect your smartphone from its AC charger and USB sync cable. The hard reset will not work if either of these is connected.
Remove the battery cover, take out the battery, and put it back in.
When the Palm logo appears, press and hold Power/End

until the black status bar at the bottom of the screen fills and disappears.
The screen will go blank briefly, then you'll see an "Erase all data?" prompt.

Release Power/End

. Press Up to confirm the hard reset.

update!

so i have tried all the resets! soft, warm, and hard and no response from teh phone what so ever. what do you guys think? im still thinking bad battery
