Okay so I have had the treo 680 for a spell now I am wondering what is the newest version out there? Currently I have a 680 with cingular (locked) and I think I hate cingular now or maybe it is palm - but I am not here to complain. I would like to switch to verizon or sprint and I think with that switch I need a new phone so what is the latest versions available for sprint and verizon? I think the latest treo for cingular is still the dying treo 680.
Please respond as I go searching for post on how all of you love(or hate) your treos.

actually the latest is the treo 750. there should be a 800 maybe near 2008. confirm please!
Verizon--700p, 700w
Cingular--750 windows mobile 5.0
Sprint--755p
I'm with Verizon and use the 650. Solid phone great network. I tried the 680 on Cingular's network because I could save 900 minutes/month on my bill (almost all of my friends and co-workers are with Cingular).
Within 6 hours the 680 froze up on me twice, the touchscreen froze on me once. I then googled the 680 (real smart to do it after the purchase) and read all of the horror stories. I'm still with Verizon and Cingular has their phone back.
If the Treo680-1.09-ATT update fixes all of these problems as promised-I will give the 680 another try. I'm still googling reviews on the update and its effectiveness.
As far as networks go, Sprint, Verizon, and Cingular are all great. I'm with Verizon now because Cingular (Bellsouth Mobility at the time) and Sprint's customer service suck.
I will stay with Verizon for the time being because there is no other phone that I want than the Treo. But I don't want a Treo that is bugged.
After the update the treo 680 is working good. It has just been a week so lets see.
