700p backup text messages

Hi,

I have a Palm Treo 700p and the Palm Desktop software version is 4.1.4

I just had someone close to me pass and I would like to backup their text messages they sent to me. My 700p just broke and I am getting a new one from Sprint.

I would like to know two things: How can I backup all my text messages on my computer and how do I get them to my new 700p?

When I backup with a HotSync I don’t see the text messages in my Palm Desktop interface.
