 |  700P Installer problem Hello all, Well, I now have my 700P and I have an issue with the installer. Whenever I try to use the quick installer, it just gives me a new window saying quick installer has stopped working. I uninstalled the palm software and reinstalled it 3 times now with the same results. Also, anything placed on my memory card via card reader on the PC does not show up on the palm device when I put the card into it. Not sure what my issue is? If it matters, I am running Vista...Does this have to do with my problem at all? Thank you for reading  |

| With Vista you have to have the Palm beta desktop installed - it will install if you turn off your virus detection application application. There are though alternatives to QuickInstall - I use PInstall and it works exceedingly well. In addition, there are applications that will connect between the device and the desktop that allow for transferring of files. I Bluetooth extensively and use CardReader, BlueFiles, and similar applications to move things around. Ben
