    Post FYI: Sprint vs. Verizon

Switched from ATT/Cingular (15 year vet. as ATT's attitude changed upon the merge) to Sprint and purchasing my T650. I went to a 3rd party vendor to purchase my phone and in dealing with the owner he suggested Sprint for this particular model last August (his provider). Nothing but billing problems every month. I will say that their CSR's have been a great help and give me credits (cash/minutes) galore. Every month it is something new or unwarranted on my bill which is immediately cleared. They have also replaced my phone three times due to manufacturer's defects (NEW NOT REFURB - only after serious negotiations). I have many dropped calls but they pay me $.50 every time. My bill is always around $100 even with the highest level of service. All it takes is some patience, WATCHING YOUR BILL and a phone call or two every month.

Yes, I want the T700 but not sure about the P or W. A friend just got the W (with Verizon)and it sure is nice. However, being that I just got this contract/phone last August, I won't be changing phones or providers.

    Respectfully submitted.

P.S. See my posts regarding Sprint for further assistance.

    Exclamation Sprint T650 Issue Update

After contacting a Tier II service tech (who referred me to Palm) and determining that it is yet another hardware issue with my 3rd 650, Sprint gladly offered me my choice of a NEW 700p or the PPC-6700 by ACI(?) formerly Audiovox. The PPC-6700 is a scary thought though it does use the WIN 5.0 OS, nicely designed (large screen/slideout keyboard) and camera w/flash. What is available for that model? I really don't think that I care or will even bother. I believe in PALM, their over all track record and innovation. Besides, ET ROCKS!!

I have read Chris's fine review (worthy of 5 stars - not 4 by the way) of the 700w. As Sprint does not yet carry that model and claims that they will not be (Rrriiiiggghhhtttttt!), I am still not sure which way to go.

    PLEASE HELP!!

Anxiously awaiting both a full review of the 700p and discussion topic covering both models (700p vs. 700w). REGARDLESS OF YOUR CARRIER any help would be appreciated as I MUST make the choice tomorrow at the latest or loose the offer from Sprint.

    Respectfully Submitted.
