700p/w Sync with BMW? - Treo Forums

I currently work for a BMW dealership and with all of our cars, well if you order the option, Bluetooth Capability is offered. If you have certain types of Bluetooth phones all of the Contacts will load into the car and when you drive everything is virtually handsfree. However, I was wondering if anyone on here currently owns a BMW which the connection is established to a Treo. If so, please say the type of Treo (700p, 680, ect), who is the carrier, and does the connection hold in the car and do you sometimes have to reconnect it. Thank You!

I own a 2006 330i and have a Treo700p. When I connect with bluetooth, just the speed dial for the first 9 numbers will apear in the contacts list on the nav screen.
Yes, I do have to reconnect occasionally. I never had this problem with my Sanyo.

Phone pairs with my '04 545i and I can see the speed dial list in the iDrive menu. However, 90% of the time, the phone powers down and back up, almost immediately upon pairing. This is getting really annoying and I may just return this phone and pick up the BB8703. On Verizon service and never had this problem with my 7250, but I also couldn't see any speed dials.

The phone is really cool and I really like many of the features, but this bluetooth issue is a show stopper.
