An update to all of those who were kind enough to assist.
After a longer than expected business trip I was happily able to return to my home base where the 700P upgrade was waiting. As of yet I have been unable to find the time to have my personal 650 repaired (screen and key issues) prior to switching to the 700P. If if said repairs are not made prior to the switch it will not be covered by my plan and might as well be trashed.
I will keep my promise of a detailed report of the conversion to those who replied as well as others who may benefit from this thread. Thank you for your patience and assistance.
