It sure did not lie - if you have 100k then you are just plain out of memory.

    What device do you have?

Are you running a third party launcher? do you have an SD card?

Those are some questions to ponder.

A third party launcher that has the capability of moving files to the SD card and launching them will save you lots of memory. There are several and I use ZLauncher.

[Thats the thing,I don't have much added to it. TomTom is the biggest, but I have it on an 1GB SD card. I guess I'll have to figure out how to delete some things.

I take it you have the 700p?

Addit stuff takes about 3-5 mb of main device memory space, which means memory maintenance is critical on some devices. I played with it on my 650 and noted a problem there and due to its size it just is not practical moving it to and from main memory with ZLauncher.

Have you looked at the amount of free DB cache memory? There are a couple of utilities that allow you to monitor and release DB cache as needed.

As a note, there are 55 Add-it files on my 700p and after moving those files to the SD card, I went from 35.9 to 38.4mb of memory. The DB cache shows 6.5mb of memory available. That amount of memory has the ability to cause some applications to have problems.

    Good luck. Ben
