    Default Annoying

    Hi all, new to the treo, but not the palm OS. I just got the 700p, and I have a question. Is there a way to disable/turn off that annoying green flashing light on top indicating phone service. I cant stand it, I may have to bring this thing back if there is no way to turn off that green light flashing when Im trying to navigate the screen...

    Are you on Verizon or Sprint? If you're on Sprint, the LED only flashes as an alert notification (i.e. missed call, voicemail, text message)

    There a freeware program LED Off that will do that. I know Butler also offers similar capabililites and you can set the LED to do a variety of different things.

    I DL'd LedOff from mytreo.net, exactly what I was looking for. I cant believe garnet doesnt have this functionality built in to shut that thing off flashing in your face. Seriously, I would have brought the thing back if I couldnt get it to shut off it was just that friggin annoying. Thanks all...
