 |  Annoying Hi all, new to the treo, but not the palm OS. I just got the 700p, and I have a question. Is there a way to disable/turn off that annoying green flashing light on top indicating phone service. I cant stand it, I may have to bring this thing back if there is no way to turn off that green light flashing when Im trying to navigate the screen... Terry |

 | Are you on Verizon or Sprint? If you're on Sprint, the LED only flashes as an alert notification (i.e. missed call, voicemail, text message)

 | There a freeware program LED Off that will do that. I know Butler also offers similar capabililites and you can set the LED to do a variety of different things. -Chris

| I DL'd LedOff from mytreo.net, exactly what I was looking for. I cant believe garnet doesnt have this functionality built in to shut that thing off flashing in your face. Seriously, I would have brought the thing back if I couldnt get it to shut off it was just that friggin annoying. Thanks all... |
