Default 'Best' Bluetooth headset for the 700p

I don't know too much about Bluetooth headsets, but can anyone recommend any? Just need something that sounds good and clear so that people can hear me.

The Jabra JX10 is a very clear sounding headset. My only beef was the clip. As far as sound quality, it's top notch. You can read my JX10 review here.

I just ordered the Nextlink AX2. Sure hope it works o.k. I wanted the JX-10, but "The Minister of Finance" vetoed the expediture....

I went through 3 Jabra JX10 headsets. No one could hear me!!! I even swapped out my Treo 2 times blaming it. I finally tried the Plantronics 640. WOW, it worked very well. You actually have to turn it down its so loud. Everyone said I sounded well. So now Im trying the Plantronics 655. IT sounds very well, but some people have said it cuts out at times. Ive also tried Jabra 250v and 500. So far the 640 has been the best. I was really disappointed about the JX10, because I had heard so many great reviews on it, but it was by far the worse.

Interestingly enough, my problem with the JX-10 was the research. Because they are so highly touted, even eBay has several Guides on counterfeits and fakes.

Still no AX2 yet, but it's only been three days. I'm sure this is teaching me patience... and character.:foot:

Whatever you get you may want to know that the Treo 700p has an issue with keeping the bluetooth connection "alive" between calls.

I can't tell you how many times my plantronics 640 has lost connection with my Treo after a phone call.

I agree. The 640 almost always disconnects after 20 secs. The 655 however, has not done it once yet. On my second day with it.

Yep. I've heard lots and lots of stories on this one. Well, all I can hope for is that Palm's got that magical mystery patch just waiting in the wings to fix this, and many other issues.

And Elvis is appearing at the last concert at the Stardust:tounge:

i own the palm BT headset and everything works great. for the best voice quality, the palm needs to be at my waist. even with the treo in my back pocket gets a little crackly. i was wearing my BT headset today and i missed 2 calls. my palm BT didnt even beep at all. its like it lost connection.
