| Handzipper Problem on 700p Every time I download a zip or prc file to my 700p, Handzipper says it was sucessful, but the app is nowhere on my Treo or the SD card. I was able to do this on my Treo 600 easily. What's going on?

Maybe im doing something wrong. | Here's a l ink to a thread at MTDN which is like a ZL tutorial. I believe it'll get you straight. Also, ZZTechs, the developers, maintain a forum on that site.

| 700p software that works In keeping with the title of this thread, the paid apps (and some free) that I use that have been updated to work with the 700p: 2Day, today-type home screen, giving status on calendar, calls, tasks, email, notifications on missed events, with plugins for other apps (QuickNews, weather using 4cast) 4cast, weather monitoring using Yahoo weather, can be viewed via plugin in 2Day, DateBk or ZLauncher Agendus Mail, Iambic's mail app, (though I've stopped using it) Agendus Premier, excellent PIM manager (i.e. contacts, calendar)
BackupMan, a device-based backup app (though I've stopped using it) Butler, alarms, LED control, attention-getter (nagging) ChatterEmail (email app, does pop3 and IMAP, the latter very well, very well supported) Directory Assistant (freeware), phone book-type lookup, directions, maps FlightStatus (freeware), just that...arrival/departure/in-flight info in real time Google Maps (freeware), excellent mapping/driving direction/look-up app LightwavPro, ringtone manager, full-screen caller ID, call-blocking
mobileClock, alarms, stopwatch NoahPro (freeware), excellent dictionary with 2 size databases to choose from palmPDF (freeware), allows viewing of .pdf files (IMO, better than DTG) PDANet, allows you to use your 700p to get online with your computer pocketTunes Deluxe, the top-of-the-line version of the standard app RescoBackup, a backup app, allowing scheduled backups, full/selective
restores, also restores java files UninstallManager, an app that monitors newly-installed apps, grouping all files associated with/created by that app, and deletes them all if you decide to get rid of that particular ap volumeCare, boosts headset, speaker, handset volume (Deluxe also does
ringtones, apps) ZLauncher, excellent, customizable launcher, with an excellent file manager
(I also use Diddlebug, HandyShopper, Splash ID & Money and TCPMP but the versions that were used on the 650 have been stable on my 700p)
EDIT: I've made a couple changes to my apps since originally posting this and I've captured most of them in my post. I've also added descriptions and links which might make it a little easier for new members.
EDIT: I no longer use HandyShopper, as Agendus now allows "notes" (lists that you can check as you complete) to be added to tasks

| Have you taken the time to read the documentation with ZLauncher? Sounds like you have not. I use it and have used it on my Sprint Treo 650 & 700p - it works well. Ben Quote: |
