blackberry rehab < n00b inside....

Blackberry pearl made me goto rehab and i said no no no, until now...........First of all let me introduce myself, Im phil from cold buffalo ny, and i have been a long time blackberry fanatic and abuser. I did fancy myself a crackberry addict and nowwell, I found something thats almost like rehab.

Im starting all over with a treo 700p (sprint). I found this little gem on ebay and well a few people i know have palms and they love them so I said why not! From time to time we all need to move on and I hope this is a good move for me. And besides in time ill get the 800w , ugh wifi how i want thee so bad.

Somethings i kinda wonder are,
Was this a phone that is a step in a wrong direction? Do i send it back an get a more recent model?
Can the treo handle a 4gb hc card? < is my main concern, How do i update my firmware to the most latest version? Do I download via pc/ or via my mobile carrier; Im still missing the PC cable but I ordered a new one that should be here shortly (using vista sp1). If anyone could help me or maybe befriend me in helping me i would appreciate it.

Thanks for takin the time to look and I hope to get to know the boards well and maybe some of you. Dont worry i will even try to contribute something now and then.

hey man! im new also and feel the same..but there is soo much we can do with our treos they are equally as good!
