Default Bluetooth and Missing Sync (Mac)

    2 questions.

    1) Is it possible to have my treo set up such that I walk into my room and my Mac recognizes it (through bluetooth) and then it just immediately starts syncing my contacts and my calander with Address Book and iCal?
(if it's not possibly automatically is it possible without using the cable?)

    2) How do you delete ALL YOUR CONTACTS on the treo quickly. I want to reorganize some things and there are like 200 names now.

    Welcome to Everything Treo!

I haven't seen this done and don't believe it's possible.

A hard reset of your Treo will bring it back to it's factory state -- so you will lose all of your data. The applications that shipped with your Treo will be there as they are installed on the ROM of your smartphone.

    Hope this helps.

    ughh...

well... then how do i sync my "Address Book" and "iCal" contacts with my new 700p?

there's gotta be an easy way, a third party app or something.

can i do this at all? with USB? Bluetooth???

You can sync both Address Book and iCal with the 700p without any additional software. Install the Palm software that came with your Treo. Then, open iSync and go to Devices > Enable Palm OS Syncing. Open HotSync Manager and go to Manage Conduits. You should see iSync -- I believe you double click to enable. My software is installed on my Powerbook which is not in my office right now. If you have trouble, let me know -- and I'll check for specifics.
