Default Bluetooth not working

I am having a problem with my bluetooth staying connected to my phone. IF
I CAN get it to work when I hang up a call the bluetooth drops out. I am using a Plantronics Explorer 320. I just got the Treo so I may be doing something wrong not sure. It does show as a trusted device and sometimes I have the blue headset icon in the top corner. When you receive a call if you select answer should the bluetooth pick up the call? I have tried to call Sprint support but they are useless.

not completely sure if this will work for you, but when my BT headset had problems, a soft reset (button next to battery) cured it

For good measure, Verizon/Palm's tech support suggested a daily reset. Download EZRESET for an application that resets your unit without having to take the back battery cover off.

Another application is mReset (free and is the one I use, available from http://software.everythingtreo.com/product.asp?id=1835).

I use it in conjunction with LookAtMe, a free application no longer supported that launches application at a user specified time and is avaiabile http://mytreo.net/downloads/details-905.html.

Also, many applications and third party launchers also have options to reset the device.
