One of my Christmas gifts this year was a Bluetrek Hummer
™ X2 Bluetooth headset (what a name right?). Unfortunately, after having issues connecting it to my 700p, I visited their website and see that under compatible devices for the generic model X2 they list the 650 and 680 under "compatible phones" and the 500v, 650, 680, and 750 after selecting the "specific pairing" option. On other websites, the compatiblity lists it as working with the 700.
I did not see the Hummer
™ version on Bluetrek's website, but assume it would be the same compatibility as the X2 that is listed. Am I just out of luck, or is there a fix for getting this supposedly "new" headset to sync up with my 700p? The attempted connectivity results were as follows: In the 700p's Bluetooth setup application I can get the headset to be listed on my discovery results, but after slecting the headset and choosing OK, the Bluetooth progess box will pop-up, then suddenly flick off and send me back to the Hands-free setup with no success. I attempted to use the Add Device option with the same results. I am following the Bluetrek's setup directions perfectly and my 700p has it's Bluetooth enabled and visibility on, as well as no other Bluetooth devices being in the area. Related Links:
