Broken screen - can i still unlock my phone and hotsnyc my info?

Hey guys,

I dropped my palm treoo 700 p - the screen is damaged. But i can hear things still work. My phone has a 3 hour lock system..and has now locked. I can attempt to punch in my code but I don't know how to hit enter without the screen? And I can't hotsnync it until it's unlocked..i think? Would I be able to take it to a sprint store- as thats my carrier, and could they get to data? I am getting a replacement - btu dont want to loose my info.
any help would be much appreciated!

Okay I kept messing with it..and if this ever happens to anyone out there. you can use the middle buttons and take a guess where the "cursor" is on th screen. I was able to hot sync and unlock it. Now I just have to figure out how to remove my passcode. Thanks anyway

glad you got it working.

I have found the sprint (sure others suck as well) tech guys to be worthless. I have found better answers using Google, plus it's a lot quicker as well.

Now for your problem i would hotsnyc and then replace the phone. Call today and sign up for Sprints phone service program which cost a few bucks a month. Wait a couple weeks and then take you broken phone in for service.


If you can not wait a couple weeks, call the local Sprint offices around you and ask if they have a refeb 700P in stock. If they have one they will sale it to you for about $60.00.
