| You can sync the 700p with bluetooth just like you could the 650. Just like the 650, bluetooth sync will be much slower than USB sync.

| First, you need a bluetooth adapter on whatever computer you're using. Then you need to establish a relationship between your Treo and your computer. You should have a bluetooth icon on your desktop tray on your computer. Open that and enable your bluetooth. Turn the Treo's bluetooth on and follow the directions after clicking the "setup devices" button in the lower left corner. You should be able to establish a relationship.
When you've done that, go to Hotsync on the Treo. Under the icon button, you'll see a drop-down box. It's probably defaulted to cradle/cable. Change it to sync via bluetooth.

| Thanks, that helps out alot. When I configured the bluetooth connection on the treo, it says to set the PC hotsync for local serail and set it to a virtual port. But, I do not have any way to choose a virtual serial port. Am I missing something? |

| I used to sync via bluetooth all the time with my 650 but have strictly been using the cable on my 700. Rather than trust my faulty memory and possibly lead you astray, here's the page from Palm's Knowledge Base so you can see for yourself.

You use that to make a virtual COM port for your Treo to connect to your PC.
That's how I did it. |
