Default Chattermail HELP Please...

....I have the trial version and two of my three email boxes, when I try to send, I receive the following message:

Sending error:
503 you are already authenticated.
Your message has been saved in drafts.

I like this program, at least I think so. I have a verizon account and two accounts from my business website.

If anyone has another program for me to try...I am all ears!
Thank you!

Seone

If it worked in the past then there is a problem with the server configuration. If it has never worked then check the user name and password and make sure those are correct. Is this a POP account? Ben

un and pw are correct and to be honest with you, I don't think it ever did work. I guess the problem is that I created all three accounts at the same time and then tested all three. I did not create one then test, create the second and test that one....etc...

Do you feel this is a good program Ben?

Thanks for your help again.

I have licenses for both ChatterEmail and SnapperMail v2 and use ChatterEmail exclusively and extensively. They both work with ChatterEmail providing the most options and flexibility. Is it good? Yes. The device I use is a Sprint 700p used in a business environment at least 6 days a week and with ChatterEmail running, it blows away the company BBs and yesterday I received a comment from a truck dealer that he knew I would be calling him by the time his email was sent - he stated I called him in about 15 seconds. Anyway, it is time to check with the server and have them verify your settings, both name, password AND security settings. My suggestion is to delete all of the accounts on the device and if possible, create a new account with your mail service provider. After obtaining the user name and password, see what happens. Of course, you must make sure the user name, password(s) and security settings are correct that you use for sending mail, the SMTP settings. ChatterEmail has built-in support for bunches of popular email providers; if your mail server provider is listed, are you using it to define your initial settings? Ben

Ben,

I will check what you recommended when I get back in the office later this week. In the mean time, does Chattermail have a spam blocker or do you know of anything that would work?

Also, is there a way to block calls from people that block their caller ID?

Thanks again....

No, ChatterEmail does not have a spam filter due to the resulting size of the application. What I do is use "server based" filtering - much easier to deal with, update and no space wasted on the device.

As for blocking unknown calls, take a look at "Call Block" - http://wishsolutions.com/. I use it and it WORKS. Ben
