Color coding in calendar

Please help! How do I add a Category to my calendar without a color automatically being assigned? Right now, when I add a Category, the green button is automatically selected. What if I do not want a color for a category? Thanks!!

Which application are you using? I just looked at "Calender" and noted no colors there. Datebook 6 - has a couple of options dealing with color highlighting.

Actually, I am talking about adding the Category on the actual Treo itself. I'm not sure if that helps...

from the 650 user guidefrom day view select the evnt description select details select the category pick list and select edit categories select new or select a category and select edit edit the category name select the color you want to give this category select and then select ok two more times. The process should be the same for the 700p and you should be able to edit out or delete categories to colr or uncolor or change the color.

From there you can rename categories and choose their colors.
