Contact Categories Hello everyone!
I actually don't own a Treo, but my boss does and he's kind of given me the task of setting it up...
I've searched google, this forum and another and haven't quite got the anser I need...
The problem I am having is with Palm Desktop. My boss has custom categories on his contact list on his Treo, but Palm Desktop refuses to recognize any of the custom categories. I called Palm, they told me about the "15 category rule." So I deleted 2 of the 16 categories my boss had for good measure, but to no avail. I then called them again and was informed that I need to add the categories to Palm Desktop first and then PD will be able to recognize the categories coming from the Treo. I have also tried that and still haven't had any luck... When I view the sync log, it still says:
"- Only 15 categories are allowed. All records in category 'rev sales' were changed to 'Unfiled'.
and I have 15 categories if you count 'All' and 'Unfiled'
I'm super tired of messing with this thing, any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated.
