Dataviz Docs to Go transfers - Treo Forums

I love this program - but....I have a document I am constantly having to mail out to people while I am on the go. (This is why I bought the Treo! So I can be mobile!) But when I transfer the document from my desktop to my Treo, it is distorted. Can anyone tell me why and how to fix it? It is a form created in Word that looks fine on my desktop, but is all messed up on my Treo. How do you fix it? I have version 8.0 of the Dataviz.

Hey KT,

What kind of document? I'll assume a Microsoft Office file, what version of Office are you using? How large is the file? I email docs all the time from my Treo with good success. I do, however have issues when the file is large.

It's a registration form I created in Microsoft Word 2007. I run a baseball league and send out registration forms all the time. I wanted to keep a copy on my Treo for convenience so I could "mail" them out as I got the requests, but it's just not working. When transferred over, it's right at 100K. All other docs transfer fine, but this one comes across all distorted. The lines are all messed up and the type is larger than normal. It's crazy.

From my understanding Documents to go 8 will not work that well with Microsoft office 2007. What you need is version 10 for it to work. There is a free trial period with the version 10 so that you are sure that is what you need. I have version and have had no problems with the documents being sent.
You might also want to change the font on the document to see if that might help.
