As a note, when a backup of the device is done, the "fix" is reinstalled. Ben

Thanks for the info! Very cool, very easy. Did it via my PC, clicked on the "Dowload" from Palm, it opened up directly in Palm Quick Install, Hot Synced, VOILA!

Now, stupid question. Is it necessary to leave the DST Update "Icon" on my Home/Applications screen? If not, how do you delete it??

Thanks as always for keeping us all informed here. I just wonder if someone doesn't belong to this forum, how they'd ever find out this had to be done????

I thought it said on the site that if you hard reset, you have to reinstall. So my guess is you shouldn't delete.

On another note, if I have my Treo set to get date and time from mobile network, do I really need this? Last thing I want to do is FUBAR my appointments on the Treo and/or Outlook.
