Delete Calls in Call log

Hello all.........
I'm new to the Treo 700 Smartphone and cannot seem to figure out how to delete either individuals calls from the call log or to delete the entire call history. Any advice?? I was hoping this phone would be VERY user friendly yet I cannot find this one.

Hello, techno, and welcome. If you want to delete individual items in the call log, open up the call log app, highlight the entry you want to delete, hit the menu button, then scroll down to delete item.

To delete the entire history, you can follow the same sequence, but select purge, rather than delete item. You'll get choices for older than 1 wk, 1 month, 2 months, all but last 10 or all cals in the log.

so i highlighted the number pressed on menu and went 2 delete and it wont delete it when go 2 delete and click the 5 way navigator center button it then asks if i want 2 call the person and it wont let me delete plz help

Then hit the "Call Log" tab at the upper left side of the screen. A drop-down menu will allow the deletion of single items or an entire purge.
