Verichat can operate as "always on", either by SMS or data. I have mine always on, data, and receive calls just fine. (on my 650/Sprint)

is chatting easy? and is switching from like aim to yahoo easy? how does that work?

Very easy. You can be logged on to multiple clients, Yahoo, AIM, ICQ, MSN all at the same time (with the premium version), and even multiple screen names at a time.

Just make sure that they have a version for the 700p; if they don't yet, they will. I have really liked Verichat, and I tried them ALL before settling on one!

I encourage you to take advantage of the free trial of VeriChat and any title you might be considering. This way, you know it meets your needs. Just be careful not to run multiple chat/IM apps - I'm sure that would wreak havoc on your Treo.

My first post and a first time treo user. I just got my treo 700P and the first app I loaded was verichat. Ive noticed that ever since verichat, my 700 started to reset itself and once froze. I had to take the battery out to reset. I have created a shortcut box for verichat on the phone/dial screen window. I think this was creating the problems. I deleted the shortcut button and so far everything is good, 24 hours of testing. Still testing the unit and so far the reset and freezing is the only problem i got. IS THIS PROBLEM NORMAL?
