Faith in the Treo

I have been reading these forums for about a week (since i got my 700p) and I have found a plethora of useful information, and I decided I had to join to tell what happened today...

I was rock climbing a few miles from my house (it was 67 today), and I used my Treo to take pictures and facebook them. When we climbed down the face and got to a river. We decided to go out on an island that we could only reach by positioning a footbridge we found to get from rock to rock. On the way back off of the island, there was a good 4 foot jump to the last rock by the shore. I barely made it, and turned around and pulled out my phone to be in position for the inevitable hilarity: my friend ending up in the water. As soon as I pulled out my Treo, it slipped out of my hands and into the river. I panicked and stepped in with my shoes on to retrieve it. About a foot under, the screen was on and i could clearly see icons and everything-- a terrible sight. After catching my SD card that floated past me, I quickly took the battery out and went home to get a hairdryer. After about an hour of drying it out, it now works perfectly.

The moral of the story is the Treo ROCKS and when my new every two plan comes up I hopefully will have the cash for the brand new one.
