Find my version of Palm OS? Need Dir Assist, think I need to upgrade OS first.
I deleted the old version, found the newest (3.31) and downloaded it. All went fine, loaded and seemed to work. Then when the search was almost ocmplete, instead of showing results, it just gave me that same error message that everyone else is reporting on. mysqlsomething something blah blah blah
The note sais I need to be running at least OS 3.5 or later ,how can I find that and if not, how do I upgrade to the latest Palm OS?
THANKS!!!!
I'm hoping that's it, this feature is addictive, I used it all the time and have been w/o it for a few weelks. withrawl sucks

you are running version 5.something. Version 3.5 was many Palm units ago .

Yahoo changed the format for the pages that Dir Assist scrapes to display data. The developer should be coming out with a new version very soon.

Okay, thank you.
So my Palm OS is up-to-date and the DA is not on my end.
I thought I had read a bunch of times that the developer (Rick Whitt?) had fixed the bug and it was okay to use agian, just needed to re-install the application. I went to his site and saw that he states he's going to be releasing a new version, I just thought that the errors everyone encountered over the past few months had been resolved.
It's a great program, I'm real pleased to have it! Just hard to be w/o it! LOL

Yeah, I didn't realize how often I relied on it until Yahoo broke it... Google Maps is ok in the meantime, but DA is much snappier.

I used it enough. Now I am using GoogHelper or via the Internet and it just is not the same. I hate having to read through looking for something that DA displays much better.
