    Default HCSD Card Help!

Just scored an awesome deal for a 4 GB HCSD Card and when I tried to use it, it will acknowledge its presence however the computer wont. If i stick it the slot in the printer the computer won't auto run the device. Any ideas or solutions?

Did you format the card and if so, on the PC or the Treo?

Are you using a reader for the PC to recognize the card? I did read that if a reader is not specifically designed for the SDHC format it cannot read the card. Here is a Wikipedia article you might find of interest.

The reader I normally use is through my HP printer. I tried formating it on the Computer fist but It doesn't even recognize that the device is in. The treo will acknowledge its presence and i tried formating it through the treo but still no dice. I have the 1.10 update, im just wondering what is the capacity allowable for this device and if anyone has any suggestions on brands/size.

Max card for a 700p is 4gb. I am not sure if the newer super fast card features are useable by the 700p. I have a 650 and we are limited to older 2mb cards.

I have had great luck with the SanDisk brand.

The 680 is the only one I know of that will use HCSD cards. It won't regester as the full capacity though until you start filling the card up. I use an eight gig on mine.
