help! contract with VZW about to expire!

hi! my contract with verizon is about to expire and it is time to upgrade my palm treo 700p since i always want to be covered by a new phone warranty.

i love palm, especially versamail and the qwerty keyboard and the camera. i hate verizon wireless sync email. i like the ability to hit "get" on versamail and download all my IMAP emails when needed and don't like that "push" technology of verizon. i also refuse to use a touchscreen after i had trouble with a friends iphone and read bad reviews for the blackberry storm touchscreen. i do want to stick with verizon wireless.

so i need to find another smartphone, preferably a treo, but verizon only seems to offer the centro and the treo 700w (limited quantities). what do i do? is the centro and upgrade to the treo 700p?

The new Centro is an excellent Palm OS device. I have an HTC Treo Pro and it is an excellent WM 6.1 device. Fast, plenty of memory, stable, et cetera. The Treo 700W is no longer available - the 700WX is also a good device, though it is WM5.

Myself I'd go with the Centro.. If you happy with Palm, that would be the way to go. I've had a moto q... I can only say from experience, to stay away from anything WM...
