| I've run into a hang on media before, myself. Like you suggested, something could be corrupt. Another possibility, though, is that large media files/amounts may be causing it. I usually ran into it when I had movie(s) on my card. I set my conduit like you suggested, and do all my media transfers via card reader, which is faster anyway. While the card's already in the laptop, I make a copy of it once a week or so just for GP.
