How to send .3G2 video to others?
I've got the Treo 700p, and I'm having difficulty converting the .3g2 video files (which come out of the Treo's native Camcorder app) to something I can send via email to other people. My own QuickTime seems to open the video fine, but other people seem to lack the CODEC and I don't like putting the onus on my friends to install CODECs if I have a way to convert the video to something that will work for them.
I've been to a few other sites, and have seen a few free or shareware converters, (e.g. 3GP_Converter034 and Xilisoft) but none have worked for me (they start, but then stall with a 0-byte destination file, and never finish). These have all been generic "3GP/3G2" converters, and were not recommended by Treo users, so I'm forced to wonder if there's something special about Treo's .3g2 implementation. Because of that, I'm reluctant to spend cash on a program that may not work any better.
Can someone recommend a process, program, or anything that will let me share my camcorder clips with my friends? Free is great, but cost isn't a big deal if it works well.

Maybe I should expand the question...
Does anyone here ever send video media you captured with your Treo to others? How do you do so?

I'm hoping and guessing that I'm not the ONLY one who wants to email their camcorder video clips to family and friends. And everyone's family is notoriously browser-non-savvy, right?
So I'm sure this has come up before. Does nobody have any tips on how to do this without the "codec not found" misery I've been having?

Just so you don't feel totally ignored I'll respond.
I've never tried to send a file from the camcorder to anyone, but after reading your post I tried it. I haven't come up with anything yet.

I haven't put a lot of effort into it either, since right after getting my first Treo. That being said, have you looked into Total Video Converter 3.11? I've seen some good reviews and they offer a 15-day trial.
Sprint Treo 700p 2Day, 4Cast, Agendus Premier, BluePill, Butler, Chatter, Diddlebug, Flight Status, Google Maps, LightwavPro, MyBible 4, Noah Pro, palmPDF, PDANet, ProfileCare, pTunes Deluxe, QuickNews, Reset Doctor, RescoBackup, SplashID/Money, TCPMP, TealLock, UninstallManager, volumeCare Pro, ZLauncher

Same problem - 0 byte output file, and at least this time I'm getting an error message: Unsupported codec (id=86043) for input stream #0.0
Also, the $50 pricetag seemed a bit steep for a video converter.
It seems like the CODEC used by the Treo's video encoder is non-standard and not widely embraced! That's a bummer. I have found another piece of software that seems like it does the trick. I'll evaluate further and let the thread know.

Sorry that one didn't work. Some of the reviews and comments looked promising.
Sometimes all this proprietary stuff can really get on a person's nerves.

Easy Fix. Here is the easy free way of doing it. If you have a Windows mobile desktop, after HotSync, copy and save the file to a destop folder. On your desktop go to Start>All Programs>Accesiores>Entertainment>THEN WINDOW MOVIE MAKER. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS.
Once you convert it to WMV format then re sync it to your phone to email or send it from your desktop.
NOTE: You can on send 32G format videos to phones that can view 3g2 videos
IT PUTS THE LOTION ON ITS SKIN OR IT GETS THE HOSE!!!!!!!!
