I click wireless sync, it turns everything off - Treo Forums

i've had my 700p for almost two, everything has been working fine, tunes, email, phone, ect. But now when I try to do a manual wireless sync or even click on the sync app, it turns the palm off and the phone. Any ideas on whats going on or what I should try.

Try a warm reset and soft reset immediately thereafter. If you have everything backup on sd card, you can hard reset if that doesn't work. I use wireless sync too and have never had that happen.

Was this a "one time" event, or has it been happening consistently? I've noticed after being only a "seven week" owner/user of the 700p, that it's definitely a "quirkly" little device to say the least

.

I've seen mine turn off and back on again for absolutely no apparent reason once or twice, do a self-initiated "soft" reset when it felt like, the screen will "Freeze Off" and require a soft reset to fix, and a couple of other "spooky" things. This thang definitely has a mind of it's own ha ha. Other than that, all seems to be going well, and yes, I do LOVE IT

yeah I love the thing also, but now the main reason I baught it was to check my email wiile away from my computer, and it doesn't work. And yes it resets everytime.

Funny, I just ran out to get gas, and while I was out, the screen "Froze" OFF!

Had to reset it to get it back on.
