When one uninstalls an application/program from any computer/device (even using Windows Uninstaller), there are always orphan files and registry entries left behind. There is no other way to remove them without an application of this nature. Think about this also. How much memory space is available on a Treo compared to a PC/MAC? When little things are left behind on a PC/MAC which will not mess with you who cares.?.? But when they are left behind on a device such as the Treo with very limited resources it will always mess with you as the memory is always in high demand (even with SD cards).
My suggestion would be to use the "Lite" version which is free for now until you have the resources to purchase the "Pro" version. Please visit this link for their explanation of the software and what each version will do for you.

Also, were you able to find any anti virus or spy ware for your Treo on either your university or school district's web sites? You will need these as well and remember that they are offered and maintained for free (as previously mentioned). Look on the university's site, go to "e-services" (or something like that) and you will find FREE PC/MAC/Treo security software galore.

Great info everyone.
Thanks.

I just tried this - did the trial and it didn't give me anything so I bought it for the $15 (no free trial available???). Anyway, I've had it 15 minutes, it's crashed my Treo twice and it doesn't do anything more then the delete function on my device. WASTE OF MONEY to me!

As mentioned above, an installation monitoring program monitors the installation of programs during the installation process and allows for the more complete removal of applications when the time comes due to boredom or whatever reason causes one to delete an applcation.
The default launcher does not have the ability to track applications as well as UM or DS - it often leaves files sitting on the device.
As for crashing your Treo - normally if an application has to be enabled, it must be disabled. What applications were you trying to delete with it?
