Default Installing Volume Care

I downloaded the Trial Version of Volume Care to a folder on my PC. (What's the "Palm Installer" file?) I assume this is something I don't need, as long as I already have the Palm "Quick Install" on my PC, right?

Can I install Volume Care to my Expansion Card, or does it have to reside on the Palm itself?

Also, this is the first 3rd party app I'll be installing since UM and Cleanup, and am not familiar with the "Sandbox" feature. Can someone explain, and also let me know if I'd be better off installing VC to the "Sandbox" and how that all works?

Thanks for the help!

Volume Care runs all the time and therefore has to be in the device's main memory.

What the Sandbox will do after you install Volume Care is allow you to test it in a protected area of memory and if you like it, then you can keep it by tapping "Quit Sandbox" or delete it by tapping "Delete."

Going a bit further, it is best to set the Sandbox feature to work automagically.

The Palm Installer is sort of like a Windoz EXE based installer - it makes things automagical. What I do not like about them: #1) you have no control over the files being installed and #2) there are times the installer does not delete itself after installation has been acomplished. I prefer knowing what is placed on my device.

As for setting the sandbox to run automagically: options - settings - enable sandbox and then tap on Auto. As a note, I have all or the options enabled within Uninstall Manager.
