Issues when on a call on Treo 700P

Question 1: I there any way to change the settings to turn off the screen lights and button lights while on a call.

Question 2: Is there any way to not get alerts or alarms while on a call (Appointments, messages, etc)

I have Butler but could not find a place to change either setting in Butler or on the phone applications. I am using a 700P.

Preferences - Power - "On call, dim backlight after:" This is the only thing I could find that would relate to what you want to do.

I believe without a 3rd party software, you will not be able to do this.

Thanks Jim, I have it set to dim when on the phone but i need it the lights to go off. I've been looking at phone technician but was hoping to be able to fix the settings without buying anything else

There is a program called sandman that might work for you.

Sandman is a bit out of date, it worked on my 650 and was very erratic on the 700P. Phone Technician, Power Hero, and similar programs will do what you are requesting. PT does have the option to disable alarms during calls - use with caution, especially if you have an important one set.
