| Just Need A Little Help!! Was wondering if someone could help me out here. Haven't been having any problems with my 700P. It would sync and Quick install without a hitch. The computer I was using had XP on it.
So I get a new laptop and install my software and everything works except my Quick Install. Go figure. I ried to reinstall the software but nothing. Now the laptop I am using is running Vista Premium, could that have anything to do with it? If so what are my options. If I have to I could just go back to using the desktop. |

| Lots of people have run into problems using QI once they switched to Vista. There are a couple of threads here on how people dealt with it using 3rd-party apps. Here's a page from Palm's Knowledge Base about it that should get you going.

| Kdallen thanks for the help. I probably should have just checked Palm's website myself. I never even thought about using my sd card, or using emal.
Thanks again. |

| I use PilotInstall instead of Quick Install. You can also Bluetooth it over if your laptop/computer has Bluetooth capability. I also use SoftTick's Blue Files to move things around.

| Isn't there a beta version of the Palm Desktop that is designed for Vista? I had problems with the Quick Istall as well as regular syncing (as well as numerous other Vista issues) but ended up having my laptop reconfigured to XP.
