You know, it's hearing stories like this, over and over and over again, that prevents me from doing any "updates" to my software. (I'm still running VZW 1.06) with no problems.........finally. I've begun to take the approach "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".

As a matter of fact, I got an email reminder from Verizon just the other day, about logging on to the Palm Website to download the latest version of the software, & update my 700p in order to take advantage of:gasp: all the improvements

I quickly sent that email to the TRASH!:tounge:

Unfortunately, these things can happen, but the latest Verizon update (_1.10) makes the phone much more stable once it is installed. If you have your data backed up from a hotsync, you can do a hard reset, install the update, and then restore all your applications. The latest update greatly improved the stability of Versamail, which was occasionally resetting my PDA when logging into one of my email accounts. After the update, it has been rock solid. Bluetooth stability is also improved.

    Cheers.
