    Question launcher x & the 700p

Just got the Verizon 700p and am loading software I used successfully on the 650. Launcher X works fine, but it refuses to become the default launcher. Every time I hit the Home button, it goes back to the Palm launcher. Any ideas? Alternatives to Launcher x that look similar and work on the 700p?

Make sure you're using the latest version of LauncherX. I'm running 1.2.16 on my 700p but I heard there's a 1.2.17 out there. It works great.

It automatically sets itself up as the default launcher and links itself to the home button. All you have to do is install it. LudusP is not necessary.

    Default new version is fine

I'm now using the latest version of launcher x, and it works just fine. (It is not a a web browser; it is an applications launcher/utility.

What benefit does launcher x have over the existing launcher? Thanks
