Default LEDn Indicator

Hello all. I just upgraded to the 700 from the 650 and I'm used to seeing the LED indicator blink when the phone is on (green if I'm in a service area, amber if I'm not). Has this changed? How do I turn this on? The LED is on when the phone is charging but otherwise I never see it.

Thanks in advance!

Pretty sure it's no longer built-in on the 700p. No idea why they dropped the feature. The only solution I know is Butler, from Hobbyist Software. Lots of utilities, including very helpful LED settings for different notifications.

No need for Butler. The indicator on my 700p works just as you described. Not sure why yours isn't working. Maybe you have something "disabled"? Just wanted to let you know it can work.

True -- but Butler offers more choices that I think I remember having with my old 650, such as the possibility for a flashing signal when there's an outstanding voicemail and/or SMS, etc.

Default Led

I have Alltel and I noticed when I upgraded from the 650 to the 700p the LED was no longer on.
I was told that it would only blink if you had a new message or missed call otherwise it remains off unless plugged in for charging.

Check with your provider.
