    Default More Volume!

I don't know if I'm hard of hearing (ha ha), or if I'm the only one that feels this way, but with the volume of my Treo 700p cranked all the way up to 7 (what ever happened to 10 - ha ha), I still have a hard time hearing audio, ringtones, speaker-phone etc., etc., on the device.

Is there any way (or software) that will increase the overal level/volume of the Treo, without adding any problems or unstability?

A trip to an audiologist could be a good thing as well. If you are beginning to have a hearing problem, you wouldnt be alone. Many of us bombard ourselves well beyond the tolerance of what our ears were meant for. Once you know you arent losing your hearing, yes, Volume care has helped many get more out of their phones.

Anyone know where & how much? I'd also be interested to know if anyone has any personal experience with the software, before I go download something that's going to make my Treo unstable.

Just please SHOUT when you write back LOL.

    Thanks for the link.

Is this a fairly trouble-free, stable addition?

It has a good reputation, but it also has a 15 day free trial, so install it and see how you like it.

The developer, Jeff, has an excellent support record. The basic release of Volume Care is for the phone operation and the Pro release the rest of the world.

So Basic's probably all I'd need to do what I want. Just increase the volume of things.

I just wanted to be sure it wouldn't mess with anything else, before I download it, even if just the trial version, you know? I'm certainly not looking for trouble ha ha.

The trial version operates like the real live version. Test drive the basic if you are only interested in the phone being louder (that is my interest) and the pro version if you want to boost the sound of everything else. A note - it really does boost the levels, so start off on the quiet side and work your way up. He does state he is not responsible for damage to the speaker.
