| Hello kdallen, I went on the tutorial you put out on bernards advise and down loaded every thing as on the tutorialto watch movies on my treo, also purchased the lathe program and some of the programs loaded on to my palm 700p and the dvd fab,dvd shrink, and lathe did not due to "there is no application on the organizer to handle this file" promped. After all that it might only be for the 600 or 650, I am new to this so if you have any advice
it would be appreciated
thanks ralph |

thanks ralph | I'm not familiar with DVD Fab, but DVD Shrink is for ripping DVDs to your HD, and Lathe is for converting the video to the Treo's screen size. They're both PC apps, not Palm.

| Once you've got the movie shrunk, your best bet to transfer it is via card reader. Most new laptops come with them built in. If not, you can pick up cheap ones (probably $15 or so) at your local Best Buy, Circuit City, HH Greg, etc. eBay's also a good bet, if you're willing to wait for shipping.
Another option is an app called Card Export II, which allows your computer to see your Treo as an addt'l drive when hooked up via USB. Many people here have used it with great success.
Technically, you can transfer it via hotsync (which I initially did), but I wouldn't recommend it. Transferring such a large file tends to lock up the hoysync process.
