My Treo 700P Arrived Yesterday

Hi All,
I'm new here but i'm a Treo-Addict so I figured i'd pop my head in and say "hey"

My 700P arrived yesterday and the lady at Sprint did not set my plan up correct...i had to call back and do a reset for the high speed....but it's now working and it's pretty FAST.

I'm still a little bummed that I can't install a Flash Player on it though...i emailed the Macromedia people and they say there's not one for the Treo just yet. Is this wrong?

I saw that palm was offering $150 for the 650P but I posted an ad on craigslist.org selling it for $260 and it sold in 2 hours.

All in all, I really like the new toy...still having to get used to the new buttons though, but I figure in 3 days and i'll be all adjusted

I'm not a big Flash guy --- I think you're seeing less and less Flash on the web.

Tell me about it. I'm going from the 700w to 700p. Identical phones with different mapping for the buttons. Got me a ittle crazy.

I work in with quite a bit of flash sites so there's just certain things i really need it for but i'm just happy to have high speed

I saw the 700W in the store and thought the resolution wasn't as good as the 650p...that's why I waited for the 700p. The button change does take getting used to...i'm missing the Cap Letter button on the right side...i used that quite a bit ...now i hit the button by mistake and it's a "right-click" LOL
still happy with the phone though

yeah...i was shocked it sold that fast(and for that much). I asked $260 or best offer and the gal paid me the full $260 without asking less...i would have taken $220 ;)

this all happened about 10 minutes after posting the ad...CRAZY!

I generally do not link to other boards; however, just got to this time. http://discuss.treocentral.com/showthread.php?t=90079 and do some reading. When I tried it on my 650 it was almost, but far from satisfactory. The 700p, well same story. I gave up on it and have not tried it since.
