Need a little help please....

I had a treo 600 and LOVED it. Now I have a treo 700p -- and am finding some things very different.

1. I have appointments set on my calendar, and I keep missing them! On the 600 I was able to set an alarm that would repeat its tone 5 times (or however I set it). On the 700 I find that the repeat in prefs, calendar -- does NOT mean how many times the sound will repeat in a row, but how many times this will remind you every 5 minutes. Does anyone know how to set this so the TONE repeats x number of times?

2. I also keep getting annoying "data received" alerts that have to constantly be cleared.

3. What do you normally set wireless sync for - pc overwrite handheld or handheld overwrite pc -- and why please??
