New App. Warnings For Treo 700P

Hey Everybody, I Have Had Some Relatively Neat Programs For My Treo From "mytreo.net/downloads". At First I Wasn't Having Any Problems With My Phone, But After A While, Some Of The Programs Would Lock Up The Phone, Which Is A Pain If You Own A Treo, (reset Time). It Would Randomly Reset The Phone, Would Not Send Data As In Txt And Picture Mail. It Was Just A Mess.

If I Were You, I Would Either Stay Away Or Read Up On The Apps. On Mytreo.net/downloads.

I'm Sitting Here Regretting Each Download, I'm Having To Go Through Each And Every File On My Treo To Make It Behave Somewhat Better.

Slamming the source you download from does not get you anywhere and creates bad feelings. I and many other humans have also downloaded from MyTreo.Net and are happy with what we have downloaded.

If you have that many giving you a problem, back up the device, execute a HARD reset, install those you have no problems with, and then install them one at a time.

The site is not the problem - your installation and failure to determine which application was the problem is the problem.

I agree. It's not so much the site you download from, but the apps and number of them. It seems many people are "app happy", and want to make their Treo's do everything short of act as a remote control for their televisions (which........believe it or not...........I think I actually saw an app for somewhere).

Find a happy medium, and stop trying to make the poor thing do everything!! Leave well enough alone, and if it ain't broke, don't fix it. If you try long and hard enough, downloading third party app, after third party app, you will most certainly find one that's going to fry your device!
