    Default Newbie Java Browser Question

So I'm right on the verge of upgrading from my BB 7250 to a 700p.

A friend has the 700p and loves it.

I tried going to a website that shows a monitored security camera using a java applet but it won't display.

Is this a limit of the browser standard in the 700P, the 700P itself, or what?

    Here's the app:

    http://nc-demo2.stardot-tech.com/

Does anyone know how to view this? Image refresh should be between 1FPS and 2FPS.

    Thank you,

    Joseph

This is a problem with the borwser. U can always get a different browser for the 700p and get the ibm java download.

Does your friend have kioma 4 cause if he does then ( i think) he can stream that with kinoma 4. If he has kinoma 4 then u don't need a different broswer.

Just now hearing of Kinoma for the 1st time. went to www.kinoma.com and it looks like it's a media player.

While the point is to view video, it's actually jpeg stills viewed one every second with a java applet.

I assumed that the problem with the browser was in it's java capabilities/handling. Will Kinoma get around this?

    Thanks very much!

So how do I get a browser that will fully support java apps?

    Thanks,
